The apartment was designed by a well-known architect from the 1990s and was renovated just a few years ago. Much of the furniture was designed specifically for this home by the architect himself. The apartment consists of an entryway, a living room, a main bedroom with a double bed and a mezzanine for closets to maximize living space, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Another mezzanine above the living room provides space for two single beds and a home office.
The apartment is on the first floor of a historic building facing a small, quiet square in the Santa Croce neighborhood.
Guests will be welcomed by a staff member who is available to assist with any questions or provide any necessary information.
The apartment is situated in the historic center, right next to Santa Croce Square and its church—widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in Florence. The Santa Croce area is undoubtedly one of the nicest in the historic center—not only for its monuments but also for the many small shops and restaurants that, especially at night, make its alleys lively and enjoyable. Santa Croce Church is undoubtedly the main attraction here—it houses the tombs of some of Florence’s most iconic figures, such as Michelangelo and Galileo. The large square that opens up right in front of the church is often the site of special events, such as the Calcio Storico (or Historical Football). In fact, every June, the stone pavement is covered with sand, literally transforming the square into an arena surrounded by bleachers. Given the beauty and amenities of the location, it’s easy to say that Santa Croce is among the favorite neighborhoods to live in Florence.
The apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) because it is in the heart of Florence’s historic center. If you arrive by car, the best option is to park before entering the restricted traffic zone, which is about a 3- to 4-minute walk from the apartment. The nearest entrance to the restricted zone is on Lungarno delle Grazie, a street near the Arno River where there are several parking lots. These parking lots are free from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., but you must pay during the day. There are automated payment machines near the parking lot; the ticket must be displayed inside the car. Please be careful, as there are cameras at the entrance to the restricted traffic area that photograph license plates and then issue a fine to the driver.
Given the current global situation related to health issues, we have decided to increase our focus and the time we dedicate to CLEANING and SANITATION. We handle this with the help of professionals who sanitize every surface in the apartment after a guest’s stay. This increased focus affects our cleaning costs, but we believe it is an investment in health and safety in the long term. We can all agree that cutting corners on health would not be wise. We hope you understand and support us in this decision. Guests will be welcomed by a staff member who is available to assist with any questions or provide any necessary information.
Check-in ends at 8:30 PM. After this time, check-in is possible for an additional fee. From 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the fee is 30.00 €. After 10:30 PM, the fee is 50.00 €. Payment must be made through Airbnb upon arrival.

Nice location. Needs work
Nice location. Property manager communication was great. Check in was good. The apartment needs updating. Doesn’t look like the photos. It is very loud area. On the ground floor and in a very busy loud area. We didn’t get much sleep at all.

Peruzzi apartment: great location and beautiful place to stay.
The Peruzzi apartment in Florence was a nice place to stay for 2 nights. There was room for my husband and I, and our 2 teenage kids. The kitchen was tiny (very narrow), but hadf nearly everything we needed to cook with. I appreciated having a washing maching too. The location of the apartment could not have been better; this was in walking distance (15 minutes) from all major tourist attractions in central Florence. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not strong, and you had to sit right in front of it to cool down (or be in the main bedroom). The upstairs bedroom where my daughter stayed was hot the whole time. It would be nice to have a portable electric fan for the upstairs sleeping area.
