"Could not have asked for more the grounds, the house, the hostess, the surroundings . . . All just beautiful and wonderful. Felt like I could have spent a month there. The hostess was so nice and so helpful. On the last night we had the chef and owner from a local restaurant, Mimo come and cook for us. It was like a movie. He was such a good cook, so nice. Sat down and talked to us and had a glass of wine . . . It was wonderful, felt like we had a much better understanding of Italy."

"Extraordinarily beautiful location, very helpful and attentive host. The two-bedroom apartment is a little odd, with one bathroom (sink, bidet, toilet) at the end of the hall, and a second “bathroom” (consisting only of a shower)accessible only by way of one of the bedrooms!"

"If you're looking for a quaint, chill stay in Chianti - this is an AMAZING option. This is exactly the reset my family needed after the hustle and bustle of Florence. The grounds are very natural and beautiful. The pool was very well kept and extremely clean. The hosts were helpful and friendly. There is an active B&B on the property, so you may need to share the overall grounds/pool but there is plenty of space! I look forward to visiting Il Borghetto again in the future. Can't recommend this...

"We hebben genoten van ons verblijf van één week. Prima locatie binnen half uur afstand van Florence en/of Siena. Supermarkt(Coop supermercado) binnen 10 minuten. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst inclusief uitleg van het huis door Giovanni. Goede bedden incl bijbehorende sanitaire voorzieningen. Tuinmeubilair is ruimschoots aanwezig incl (niet door ons gebruikt) Barbecue. Indien wij nog een suggestie zouden mogen doen: Kussens op diverse tuinmeubels zouden vervangen mogen worden en een eigentijds...
