Private Hot Tub - 3 bedroom Village Home

Welcome to the Bushkill House, an outdoor lover’s dream!
Spend your visit hiking the nearby trails, skiing or snowboarding on Belleayre Mountain, or exploring the historic villages of the Catskills. When you’re done adventuring, relax at home in our hot tub overlooking the creek, recharge in our spa-quality sauna, or make memories around the firepit. Appreciate the details of a 100 year old home truly built with care. Much of the house was creatively renovated and furnished w/restored antiques.

Our home offers 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin size beds, two bedrooms each have a queen size bed, and each bedroom has a dresser and closet to put away your belongings. There is one full bathroom on the second floor with a shower and tub, and one three-quarter bathroom on the first floor with a shower. There is a washer and dryer available for use. The living room is cozy with two large couches, a smart TV, a wide variety of books, games, a piano and CD/cassette tape/record player. The dining area is spacious and comfortably sits 8. The kitchen has ample counter space, a convection oven, induction stove top, dishwasher, and is stocked with all the essentials for those who love to cook. The breakfast bar offers extra seating in the dining area.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the furnished front porch, and relax with family and friends out back around the picnic table and fire pit while cooking dinner on the gas grill. And feel free to take a dip in the creek on a hot day!
The home has cell service and is equipped with high speed WiFi to keep you digitally connected for recreation or remote work.

The house and grounds are for your exclusive use during your reserved time. There is plenty of space in the driveway for three vehicles.

I am available while you are at the house for any questions or emergencies.

The house is located about 2 ½ hours north of New York City.

The property is located in the Village of Fleischmanns. Across the street there is a large, open field with mountain views – great for picnicking or ball playing. Down the street there is a quaint park with a jungle gym, tennis courts, and a baseball diamond. Main Street is around the corner, where you can find a grocery store, liquor store, art gallery, family-owned restaurants, and the town library.
The house is minutes away from Belleayre Mountain, a popular skiing and snowboarding destination. A short car-ride will take you to Adler Lake, parks with snowshoeing and cross-country ski trails, Esopus Creek for fly fishing, a plethora of mountain trails for hikers of any age or experience, and the historic town of Woodstock.
CHECKOUT LIST

We hope you have had a great time and will come back to visit us again soon. Before you leave there’s just a few things to do.
A cleaning service with trash removal is included in your rental rate; however, we would appreciate you leaving the house in a tidy state prior to departure. Therefore, prior to your departure, please complete the following checklist.

Interior:
□ Return all books and games to original locations
□ Make sure all kitchen appliances are switched off (i.e. stove)
□ Turn off all lights in all rooms
□ Remove sheets from used beds and put in 1 pile by washer. Leave comforters and pillows on the bed. Please don’t put them on the floor.
□ Place used towels in a pile on bathroom floor
□ Remove food from fridge and freezer. It should be empty when you leave.
□ Wash and put away all dishes. If using the dishwasher make sure you run it before you leave and put the dishes away.
□ Ensure you have packed all of your belongings phone/ipad/laptop/chargers etc.
□ Place garbage in the Hot Tub shed. REFER TO HOUSE RULES FOR SPECIFICS!
□ Set all thermostats to 50°F in the winter months
□ Close and lock all windows and doors
Exterior:
□ Ensure gas to BBQ grill is set to OFF position and the propane tank is turned off
□ Fire pit is completely out
□ Dispose of all cigarette butts, bottle tops and litter from around the property
□ Make sure hot tub cover is on

Damage/Breakages:
(We understand that things happen, but please let us know about it so we can replace/repair broken or damaged items before our next guests arrive)
Faulty Equipment or Appliances:
(Please advise us of any appliance or piece of equipment that is faulty)

Before You Leave
Please take a few moments to double-check the house for any personal belongings—especially in drawers, closets, and under beds. If any items are left behind and you'd like them returned, we’re happy to help. Please note there will be a $50 handling fee plus the cost of shipping.
