When the tide is out you can walk for at least 3 miles along the shores. Alternatively you can look around the beautiful Crescent Gardens, which overlook Filey Bay and are only 100 yards from the property. For those of you who enjoy the great outdoors the Cleveland Way ends in Filey so you can track back and walk some of the Cleveland Way along the clifftops. Along the coast you can see the chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head where the RSPB bird sanctuary is one of the most popular visitor sites. Here you can see puffins in their natural habitat. The larger resort of Scarborough is further north and just a short drive from the property.
