Dotterel Cottage can be found , just outside the pretty village of Reighton, between the bustling seaside towns of Bridling and Filey on the stunning North Yorkshire coast.

This well presented cottage offers comfortable accommodation for six looking to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire. This brick built cottage has bright and airy comfortable living incorporating an open plan living/kitchen/dining room with a well planned kitchen offering an electric hob and oven, microwave and washing machine. The dining area sits to one side and provides plenty of seating for six. The sitting area offers deep filled sofas, one of which doubles as a bed settee providing additional sleeping for two. With a flatscreen TV, this is a cosy area to return to in the evening. Retire to one of the two bedrooms; a twin and a double. The accommodation is completed by a house bathroom with shower over bath. Patio doors lead out from the main living area onto a sunny enclosed pebbled courtyard. Here you will find additional seating – just perfect for an early morning coffee during the summer months or an alfresco evening meal. If you don’t fancy cooking walk over to the on site Dotterel Arms and enjoy a delicious home cooked evening meal with a refreshing pint!

A short drive will bring you to the golden sandy beach of Reighton Sands, popular with locals and visitors alike. From here you can walk to the thriving seaside town of Filey, which offers a plethora of attractions, shops, tea rooms and fish and chip restaurants. Further along the coast are the towns of Scarborough and Bridlington. A holiday to this area would not be complete without exploring RSBP Bempton Cliffs or spending time walking the towering chalk cliffs around Flamborough. Inland, the unspoilt rolling beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors National Park offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities. The stately homes of Burton Agnes, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and Sledmere House and Gardens are waiting to be explored. A little further afield is the historic walled City of York and the homes of Captain James Cook, Whitby. Make this comfortable caravan the base for your Yorkshire holiday.
