"When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "

"Staying at the Station Hotel was a lovely alternative to chain hotels (that lack character and are all the same).
The Station Hotel was right by the station, which was great after a long train journey up, the building had traditional character and was tastefully decorated.
Staff were genuine, friendly and helpful.
The room was tasteful, comfortable, clean.

"The room was very clean, bed very comfortable. We arrived late due to the snow delaying us with blocked roads, and detours. The restaurant had closed, but they opened it up for us. The fish and chips were great. Great full Scottish breakfast set us up for the day.
I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again if up that way.
The staff are very friendly and could not do enough to help. "
