"A luxurious camping experience with running hot water, electricity, and use of a washer/dryer. Not many places to eat around and the closest "grocery store" is very expensive (12 for a gallon of milk). Make sure you plan ahead and bring mosquito repellent!! "

Stop at the general store in Volcano Village for sandwiches for your day in the park-easily one of the tastiest sandwiches we’ve ever had. Great stay, will be back!"

"Each bedroom and bathroom being situated across the living room (one on far left, one on far right) from each other was really nice after traveling with our 2 daughters for a week. It gave us some privacy from each other and a treat to each have our own bathroom. We loved the lanai and 2 separate sets of furniture on it to enjoy the view. We ordered breakfast from the host to be delivered which was a special treat and tasted amazing."

"As we were driving a series of long winding roads to this property we said to ourselves, “this place is going to have to be really nice to be worth the drive.” And it was. The nature sounds were amazing. Eating every meal on the lanai was lovely. The kids fought over who got to sleep on the lanai. It’s close to a beautiful black sands clothing-optional beach, and otherwise there’s not much to do out there. It’s not the best jumping off point for lots of island touring, but it’s the perfect spot...

"This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The...
