こちらでの滞在は私にとっては新鮮でした。
ソーラーによる電気、飲料水と雨水との使い分け。雨水のシャワーだけど、ちゃんと熱いお湯も出ました！トイレ、シャワーは部屋の中ではなく戸外でした。
キッチンはラナイにありました。
必要なものはちゃんと揃ってました。
自給自足に近い滞在 の経験はなかなかできないので驚きもありました。
夜になるとコキガエルの大合唱。
トイレやシャワーでコキガエルに会いました。
真夜中にソーラー充電が切れたようで、完全に闇に！漆黒の夜って、こうなんだとあらためて認識。
なかなか出来ない経験ができて面白かったです。"

"Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone.
This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town). "The Lehua Lodge is the best place I have ever stayed on the Big Island!! Linda is a phenomenal host, very available and highly responsive!! The lanai on this property is amazing!! We loved listening to the rain and enjoyed all the gorgeous flowers! We loved it so much that we extended our stay!! Can not say enough about the home or the hosts!! "The cottage was very clean and full of household items ready for use. It's a good thing i wake up around 5am because there's a Brahma (seemed like it) rooster next door that helps with the wake up process, hehehe. No need to set your alarm on your phone. The place was breezy once I opened all the windows. Truly a Hawaii experience. Thank you host!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect for visiting the Volcano National Park. It literally was just a 5 minute drive to the park entrance so we were able to drive into the park on the night of our stay to see the venting from the volcano. The unit itself was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. And it was certainly an immersive experience being in the middle of the rainforest. I would 100% recommend a stay here and would love to visit it again...
