"Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. "The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud! The guy behind the counter was apologetic and...

"Sian, the landlady is wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel's.com said there are laundry facilities but this is not true. BUT Sian did our laundry for us. We stayed in the annex but no one who was mobility problems, or is tall or heavy should stay there -- it is difficult to maneuver under the low ceilings. "

"Lovely hotel , breakfast was excellent , very good restaurant too. Room was very comfortable. Love the possibility of borrowing boots to walk around the park close by. Staff very helpful and kind, specially at the restaurant . "

"The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again."

"The hotel was ideally located for visiting a relative in the nearby hospital. The ground floor room was large, with a large comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, hotplate and microwave. I enjoyed swimming pool and steam room and there was also a sauna and spa facilities. There was a garden and an outdoor seating area. As we were only staying over between hospital visits, we did not use the restaurant."
