"Great stay for Father’s Day weekend with Dad and four boys. We ran the New River Gorge 5k and Half Marathon, hiked the Hawks Nest Ridge Trail and biked throughout the area. Really a great location in WV. The town of Ansted was having a weekend festival with food trucks, vendor tents and parade. It mad traffic a little more than usual but added a fun festive touch to the stay. Amber was very responsive and helpful when we had a clogged toilet and had it fixed right away. "Nice room, really comfortable bed. We saw deer outside our room morning and night. She had local products for sale, including soap, lotion, maple syrup and other things at a small store on the property. Internet was spotty. It was close to ACE adventures where many activities are available. It is upstairs, so not handicap accessible. Host was friendly and able to answer our questions."
