"Nice place to hang your hat while you explore the town of Durango and the surrounding area. It was great to have a kitchen and two bedrooms for our family getaway. "

"The hosts provided information sheets with detailed instructions that were especially helpful as to the operation of the home’s indoor pool, electronics and lighting. Loved having so many beds and ample bedding. We slept six adults, and eight children; however, we hosted an additional 12 guests for dinner, games, that included a pool table and ping-pong. We loved the spaciousness, the outdoor pond and patio for sitting areas."

"Lavendar Cottage is a wonderful place to come home too. Although an older historic home it is very clean and modern while still maintaining an older charm. We had come from out of state to attend my Father's funeral service so it was nice to go back to a place after a long day with family to a place I found myself calling home. We traveled with our 3 small dogs and they settled in right away. The side yard was fenced so we could let them outside to explore while we sat out on the patio with...

"This place was so beautiful! The house itself was very clean and organized. The view was so beautiful with the river right behind the house. The amount of wildlife that was around in the time we were there was amazing. I loved the communication with the property owner, it was quick responses, great detail, and openness for me to reach out if we needed anything during the stay. I would highly recommend."
