"We ended up in a smokers room . Nowhere on my booking did I see anything about a smoking room, but the dust said I booked the smoking room and there was no non-smoking rooms available. They tried to make it right the next day, but by then it was too late so in the future, could you put in bold letters, whether the room is smoking or non-smoking. "

"I usually don’t do Expedia reviews, but I wanted to for this stay! The young lady at the check in desk was enthusiastic, quick, and seemed genuinely happy for us to be here. The room is very charming and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. We stayed in July, and the AC was comfortable. Haha! I love that the rooms were arranged around the old house, not in a straight line like a typical hotel. There were charming little sitting areas and a cute outdoor courtyard. Definitely recommend! "

"The king room was spacious though the bathroom was a tad on the small side for someone who is 6’2. Otherwise it was a great room. "

"This was are first visit to the Anchuca Historic Mansion. We are in love...our room was stunning,#10 .The history of this home is more than I can write. Staff grand, and the food is beyond great. We are looking forward and planning are next stay already, next time room #5."

"The pool is excellent! We were travelling in July and expected it to be a warm bath. It was clean, cool, and empty on a Friday night. Staff are exceedingly helpful and location is great for travelers. Close to a couple of good places to eat and gas station for fueling up before hitting the road again!"

"Elizabeth gave some dining options, and we went to 10 Sout5h Rooftop Bar and Grill. The pork chop dinner was the BEST I ever had! Had dinner the night before at Walnut Hills, a true southern comfort experience. The property has historic details that are incredible. Some aging deterioration, but with 115 years of existence, I would too! The pool was a pleasant relief, and the room was spacious with a modern shower/bathroom. Breakfast was delicious both days, and fun to interact with Staff and...
