"The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. You do need an all wheel drive vehicle and should definitely arrive while it is still light out. The WiFi was dependable."

"The property is close to town and has a great view. However, it is in desperate need of a complete remodel. We stayed in an oceanfront king. The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up...

"Everyone we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The food was great. As a senior, this facility was very remote when touring the island and driving on the left side of the road was challenging at times. Also, the elevator doesn't work so getting to the other levels was challenging. Julie, the manager went out of her way to accommodate us."

Overall a nice property to stay and take advantage of what downtown Christiansted has to offer. The town does have a couple of homeless individuals lurking around and that may make one feel a little bit exposed. Nevertheless, property is gated and only accessible with key cards. "From the time we booked to checkout, the experience was absolutely excellent. Delia ensured we had everything we needed even before we areived. "Truly, this property is stunning. I can't imagine it is possible to have a room with a bigger balcony or better view anywhere else on St. Croix. For privacy, The Waves gets an A++ and the onsite restaurant, AMA, is spectacular. That being said, after our initial awe, we did run into some frustrations.
