"This hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the Owner Doug received us and walked us to our room. He was great, Room was big, comfortable, beautifully decorated and with a great view!!!

"Right as you enter you will see a bunch of pamphlets on the wall with places to go to do activities, shopping, restaurants and more. ALL staff is very friendly, will give tourist recommendations where to go and right at the front entrance. "Resort is beautiful, everyone is welcoming and very friendly. If you have difficulty walking the resort has steep hills and one really needs a car rental. Guests may call for the resort shuttle, but we felt captive and spent a lot on tips for the drivers. Breakfast buffet was good but not hot. Limited choices for lunch and dinner. Other than these, it was a relaxing time. "

"When I first read reviews of Tamarind, the reviews were mixed. I decided to take a chance and we couldn’t have been happier. The room was spacious and clean. The location of our room was fantastic, I walked out with my coffee every morning and was greeted by the ocean. The pool was right there and my daughter loved that. "We stayed in coral room which is in a courtyard very safe with digital locks for room and courtyard at night! Turquoise blue shallow water right across the street for snorkeling/swimming.
