"Good hotel, located fairly close to the subway (10min walk). It’s a great option if you want to save and stay in a location not as touristy as Shibuya and Shijuku. The staff were superb and very friendly. Room was more spacious than average in Tokyo. Only downside is that the rooms are a little outdated, which was fine to us. Would go back."

"I enjoyed my stay at Hatoya hotel Ikebukuro. While not glamorous, the room was clean, comfortable and walking distance from the station and the centre of Ikebukuro. It was the perfect place to base myself for a day of sightseeing around Tokyo. The manger and staff were were friendly and helpful. The manager even allowed me to check in when I arrived early which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely consider staying at Hatoya hotel again. "

"Good value for a stay for my family of 4. I rented a car and needed parking and wanted to be close Shinjuku. Mejiro is a short train ride to Shinjuku and hotel is short walk to Mejiro station. Parking lots nearby but hotel did not have its own parking. The Grace room was very big with 4 single beds with only downside being the small windows. Hotel is old but the bathroom had been renovated. Beds were comfortable with great duvet and decent pillows. Laundry room had new washer&dryer machines....

"I always love staying at the Ikebukuro area and this hotel was definitely a location i will be coming back to for future trips to Tokyo! The location is a bit tricky to find if you come by car because the gps will direct you to the front of the hotel on the main street but if you circle around to the back of the point on the map, there will be a parking area for Centurion hotel guests to have their car valet! Hotel consierge was very helpful and they have staff that also can speak english,...

"The room and the staff were great overall. My only complaints was that the hotel has central air, so I wasn’t able to have the air on unless I wanted heat and I normally like my room on the cooler side. The location is great, though it can be a little loud because of being so close to the train station. Overall I had a good experience and would book with them again in the future."

"The hotel had everything that we needed and was in a very convenient spot by Ikebukuro Station. The area is a little busy and noisy, but nothing major. The bed is very comfy and the staff are very accommodating, though the room is a little dated. I would happily stay again."
