Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). "One of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed at! So very quiet and great views. Loved listening to all the birds sing outside. Check in/out was easy and the host left a book of things to do and attractions. Lots of little pluses like soap, condiments, multiple coffee makers, and puzzles! "This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!"

"My husband and adult son stayed here for a Hudson Valley holiday. This place is truly perfect for 2 people for a lovely getaway. Would have loved to be here in warmer weather to enjoy the front porch and firepit. It is decorated adorably. Best highlights: owner quick to respond, very comfy beds and cozy, warm gas fireplace.
