"The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area."

"I arrived late last night. The owners were so kind, they turned the heat on and made things very comfortable for when I arrived. The room is so clean it has a lovely wardrobe lots of drawers for clothes and beautiful white linens. Super clean! Way better than many holiday inn expresses that I have stayed in."

"Honestly the only thing missing from this “Bates Motel” was Norman himself. The rooms are extremely dated, the bed was so uncomfortable just to sit on. The windows are filthy and covered in bugs and no screens on the windows to air the place out. They use some sort of cheap carpet fresh stuff and enough of it that the whole place smells like cheap masked floral smell. Awful experience I left after 10 minutes and went to the Holiday Inn Express Waterfront which was excellent! I will say the...

"sofa bed was totally fecked. i don't know if there was a 500 lbs person or a ganbang on it, but the thing was destroyed and i had a sore neck and back from the broken springs and torn canvas making it very un flat. i complained to staff, she said she'd let maintenance department know. other than that place was ok. breakfast selection and quality was not bad."

"Stayed here many times. Booked a ground floor room through expedia which was a few dollars more than upper rooms. When we arrived, they charged us another $10 for the ground floor room. Halls a bit dark, smokey and dated. Furnishings a bit beat up. Bed comfortable and bathroom was clean. "

"Very comfortable bed, clean room and friendly staff. Older hotel but decent at an affordable price. We stayed on the second floor which is up a flight of stairs. Not an issue for us but request a ground floor room if stairs would be a problem. Attached restaurant was convenient for our evening meal. Basic breakfast was included."

"Everything was great in terms of cleanliness, staff, breakfast and parking. View from our window looking over the town was special. For some reason the whole building was incredibly warm and the AC/heater unit in our room sounded like a train as it ran all night."

"We use this hotel when the family needs a little break from the day to day and the kids would benefit from some pool time. Its located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Love the view of river which you can enjoy from the hotel and walking path. The pool area needs some tlc and you can tell the property has been here for a long time. With that said, our room has always been clean and the staff at the front desk are kind and helpful."

"Beautiful cottage resort our hockey team loved staying at. Having evening camp fires and afternoon fishing was perfect. I wish we had time for golf, the course looks amazing. My only complaint is that the resort is huge and they have little to no walking trails connecting the 2 areas together, it was faster to drive and that's not ideal. "
