"Ideal stay.. clean rooms.. lovely polite staff..wonderful breakfast..hotel located close to coastal walks which was what we were looking for.."

"The room needs a lot of maintenance. The door is swollen and almost impossible to open, close and lock. The one window needs to be replaced. The lamp light had to be replaced, as well as the TV. The amenities in the bathroom were extremely sparse. There were no facial tissues. The patio was full of weeds. Breakfast was the best meal. All the staff were very nice and provided excellent service"

"I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2."

"Lovely old and fascinating English house in a beautiful setting, near to lots of interesting places. We enjoyed the breakfast which was efficiently served in a characterful room. Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. We would have liked to have had a later breakfast especially as it was Sunday . Although the breakfast service was...
