Welcome to the Sunshine House where our vacation awaits you!
**Saturday to Saturday booking only for June, July, August.**
The Sunshine House is a great place to make memories! Enjoy all the amenities while relaxing and recharging in this beach cottage. Deck is amazing for dinners. Access to ICW. Beach is a 3 minute golf cart ride. Perfect house for everyone!
Our house has great space with our open floor plan and 3 Bedrooms and 2 baths, plus an outside shower! Also, enjoy our large deck with outside dining and a gas fire pit.
**We only rent week to week during the summer months 6/1=8/31*** You are welcome to email me dates and if for some reason we have less days available we will work with you.

The 6 seater golf cart is brand new and available for you. All drivers MUST be 21 with a valid driver’s license. Charge in 2nd parking slot.
Use all amenities at your own risk. If there is damage we will charge your card for repairs. Nothing is to be hauled on top of the golf cart.
Quiet by 10:00PM. Have FUN!!

The house was exactly what we were looking for. I came with my family and my 2 older parents that don’t get around well. This house was perfect for that. Great location. Able to get in town with the golf cart. Easy access to the beach. The host was amazing, very informative, and cared for our safety. We were there during hurricane Erin and she notified me of updates on progress and warnings that were being issued. Also notified me of things to do. A turtle bridge, live concert, and a few others. I would recommend this rental to others.

This property fit all our family’s needs. The living and kitchen area provided ample space to cook and relax. The kitchen has more than enough supplies to fit all yourcooking needs. the place was very clean upon entering as well. The use of the golf cart was priceless as it allowed us to get to and from the beach in no time. The host was always responsive if we had questions too.

Family Vacation

Linda, the owner, was very helpful and quick to respond with any and all concerns. The home was lovely and well maintained. The golf cart was a huge benefit for driving around the island. We enjoyed our stay so much. The only issue we had was not wanting to leave. Great location and great property owner communication. Highly recommend this place for a lively stay in Emerald Isle.

Had everything we needed!

The property was great it had everything we needed. It was very clean, close to everything, and the shed was fully stocked with beach and fishing gear. The host was very prompt with the communication , we would definitely come back!!

Very impressed with the house and host! She was very responsive, informative, and welcoming. House was stocked with everything we needed. The golf cart was a huge hit and bonus for our family. The shibumi was also amazing! We just did not know it was a duplex house, but there was nobody in the back duplex our entire trip!

Everything was perfect and owner was so helpful and responsive! The house had everything we needed and the golf cart made staying on the sound side perfect! Easy trip to the beach and back. Beds were very comfortable and linens and towels were high quality which you don’t usually get with rentals on vacation. Couldn’t have asked for anything else ! We will be back next year.

July 4th at Emerald Isle

This rental had everything you needed and a bit more. The unit is clean, comfortable and modern. The beds were AWESOME!! Great proactive communication from owners and going above and beyond. With the rental having a lot of little things that you typically need to pack, this is by far the least we have ever had to do so (Used our smaller Jeep vs. SUV). Parking is covered. Party of four (with two kids 14/8). This made our trip way more enjoyable (especially for Dad). This unit also offered a golf cart included in your rental cost. It felt like everyone on the island uses them and there is plenty of golf cart parking at public beach access areas. The beach is about 5min away from the unit. This unit has a shared wall with another rental but we did not see them until the next to last day of July 4th. The separation between each unit is very good (this unit is front facing). A shibumi is a necessity on about every NC beach typically and glad the owners included that as well (One less thung to pack). Tips.. Walmart will do a grocery delivery if you have Wal-Mart. Breakfast is served at most restaurants. No fast food close by (which to me is a good thing). We have rented a GREAT deal of beach houses/Condos and this one ranks in the top three.

Great Emerald Isle stay

An amazing place the sunshine house was clean great neighborhood golf cart made travel to beach, pier,shopping and restaurants so convenient the host was wonderful and the communication was easy and informative only issue we had was didn't expect to have to have a vehicle to be able to kayak the Emerald Isle and the Sunshine House is great i would recommend and saty here again

Amazing trip, amazing location!

I am not sure I could say enough nice things about this place! The house was equipped with everything you could ever ask for! We absolutely loved being able to take the golf cart to the beach and driving it around the neighborhood! There is a cute pier you can go to the bay side that was really nice! The house location could not have been better. Linda thought of anything you could ever need at the beach, chairs, sun shade, bikes etc! The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean! Linda was such a great host, kept us updated when we could get into the house, made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Made sure we knew about incoming weather during our stay. I cannot wait to stay at this house again for our next vacation!

Good Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunshine House overall. Very clean and well stocked. The use of the beach chairs, Shibumi, and golf cart made this place worth it alone. It is a very easy golf cart ride to the beach and several dinner places within Emerald Isle. Communication was great and the owners are very nice. Our only and biggest con, is that the listing is a bit misleading, this is a Duplex!! Luckily there was nobody on the other side. Upon arrival while waiting to get in, we were yelled at over outdoors cameras for being on the wrong side of the carport by the other owners. We didn’t have further issues because we then knew to stay on the other side. We still felt watched all week by the other owners cameras and there are cameras all over the property. I am thankful that the host only utilizes theirs when vacant. Absolutely nothing the host did wrong on that end, just feel it could have been avoided with better communication that this is a duplex.

Highly Recommend!

Sunshine House has it all! We had an amazing 7 days here and can’t say anything bad about our stay. The house had everything we needed for cooking, for the beach and for our family of 5 to have a great vacation. Communication with the owner was friendly, helpful and informative. Neighborhood was quiet, but yet close to all the things we wanted to do. We were sad to leave!

Wonderful stay!

House was very well stocked, all the conveniences to make the stay great! You can tell a lot of care was put into making the home a nice play to visit and relax. We loved the incredible golf cart, it made going to the beach so fun! The surrounding neighborhood is pretty and quiet, it has a really homey feel that was nice to come back to after a fun day at the beach. All in all a great experience.

Excellent!

We really enjoyed the convenience of the golf cart, the ability to use their beach chairs and towels, and the quietness of the location. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pots and pans. The house is nicely decorated and uncluttered. An overall enjoyable time was had by all.

This home was absolutely gorgeous! It accommodated all our needs and the host had everything handy (shampoo, conditioner, beach towels, etc). The home was also close to the beach and had a golf cart available that made beach access easy. The host was fabulous!

Sunshine House was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunshine House! Cleanliness is a major factor in where we stay and if we return to places. Let me just say, this was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! The only thing we didn’t realize was that this is a duplex so when we arrived there were people setting on one of the decks and at first I thought it was accidentally double booked. We lucked out and had the nicest family renting the other side and enjoyed evening conversations with them! The house is incredibly sound proof as we didn’t hear the other family even once when inside. Also, we truly appreciated that every single thing someone could forget or need, they had available….Towels, shampoos, appliances etc. The golf cart they provide was one of the highlights. It was great being able to use that to travel to and from the beach and to some of the shops! To top it off, the owners are wonderful communicators and so sweet. If you are considering staying here you should, you won’t regret it!

Absolutely Perfect!

My husband and two teenagers loved staying at this home. The location was perfect and the home was full of amenities. The owners definitely thought about all the details and were very responsive with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Perfect Home - Wonderful Host!

We absolutely loved Sunshine House! It was one of the most comfortable and well furnished homes we've ever stayed at. The beds were heaven, it was beautifully decorated and it had EVERYTHING we could have asked for or wanted. The golf cart was the highlight of our mini-vacation. It was so much fun taking it to the beach and out to the very close-by places for dinner and drinks. Thank you Linda for sharing your home with us - you are wonderful host!!
