"A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were in room 3 which had a challenging set of stairs, no lift due to nature of the historic building. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value. "This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. Lovely bedding. Lovely spacious bathroom with fabulous products.no need to bring your own. Great brands of tea, coffee and biscuits. "Great location and nice pub. Parking on site is very limited but there is a large public car park very close. Staff were fine. One or two smiled and were friendly but the rest seemed quite miserable although they did the job effectively. Cleaning staff in the accommodation were lovely.
