In particular when we went to have a swim one of the members of staff on the leisure centre desk was extremely helpful My husband… who is in his 60’s … has early onset Alzheimer’s. "Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "

"My room was super clean. Everything worked. Comfy bed and pillows. The staff were lovely - very welcoming and helpful. Parking was free 4.30pm to 8 am + you get 2 hours free which means you can park until 10am. After that you may be lucky enough to get a hotel parking space or they may be able to get you a permit."
