"This is a lovely farmhouse bed & breakfast, Janet (farmers wife) made tasty breakfasts with options to suit everyone's taste. We had fresh milk when we needed it for in room drinks and were able to get ice for evening drinks. One word of advise, this not a hotel so don't expect hotel services. Would I stay there again, yes most definately."

"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. "The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . It would be great value & a positive accolade for a simple continental breakfast to be included in the nightly rate instead of...
