"Very nice, clean. The only thing was check in. Arrived early and waited. But I know this is typical. All in all a great place to stay!"

"Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3. There is a little patio type thing that could be accessed by the bedroom, however the furniture out there looked dirty and it didn’t appear it was cleaned at all ever. Should just remove...

"Great place I’m New Town, but walkable to Old Town. Easy check-in and check-out. Simon was great with communication."

"The property was great, the location was perfect in west end, but the management company doesn’t do their job. I struggled to get any responses from them after multiple attempts over months to get check in information and didn’t manage to get any information until a few hours before check in when I had already landed in Edinburgh. I had to contact VRBO multiple times to get them to contact the management company so I could get a response. I also sent a message in advance requesting a late...

An excellent wood burner really made the lounge - plus bringing in two bedside lights for ambient lighting - and was generously supplied with kindling and wood. The walks around the property and up into the woods were ideal for dog walks. The kitchen was pleasant, functional and suitably kitted out, although the fluorescent striplighting was...

"We really enjoyed our stay in the Shepherds Hut and the views were amazing. The only disappointment was that there was no welcome pack providing instruction on how things worked. There was also no telephone contact details in case of any issues, etc. When we arrived there was not hot water and it was only by trial and error that we managed to find out that the gas bottle was empty, luckily the other bottle was full and I was aware how to manually change them over. We did send messages asking for...

"Excellent condition and easy hassle free check in process. Location wise also perfect and accessible Clean large rooms and very well laid out structure. "

"What an amazing place"

"The host gave great detail about checking and things to do in the area. It was very comfortable and was convenient to have 2 bathrooms for our family. I would stay there again!"
