"Basic motel. Not bad for an inexpensive night. Wouldn’t spend more than a night here."

"Room was clean, and inexpensive which is what we were looking for. Late check in went quick, and left early in the morning. Breakfast was decent. Only real thing to be aware of is the parking is extremely tight- we got lucky finding a spot down the road, but that space isn't available between Nov-Mar, so staying here in the winter would be tough for parking. Other than that it's a fine place to rest your head- but wouldn't want to have to stay a long time."

"After check in, no one on property to assist with questions or issues. Office door locked when we checked out so no opportunity to let staff know about plumbing issues. Earplugs were complimentary at check-in and needed for the many trains passing by through the nite. Had a suite but the hot tub provided was "out of order "."

"Lowest price which is why we chose it. I won't be going again. Needs updating. Claims a breakfast but going across the street to a Kwik Trip was a better option."

"There was an issue with the AC in the room we were initially put in. As soon as we brought it to the attention of the staff at the front desk they fixed it immediately. It was clean, spacious, and the staff were very friendly"

"We had a nice stay at Black Bear Cabin. Short distance to tourist attractions. Hot tub was enjoyed and the beds were comfortable. Some things that might help improve the stay for others would be: dish towels for easier kitchen clean up, ability to plug in deck lighting, hooks or shelving in rooms for towels and clothes, end tables in the queen bed rooms, and fresh batteries for basement remote. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking. Great place for meditating and quality time. "
