"We typically stay here when we visit because we go in the off season and there are a very limited number of hotels that stay open in the off season. Unfortunately, the mattresses have not been replaced in far too long! They’re soft, lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable. My husband and I have both had back surgeries so we have a firm mattress at home. These are about as far from firm as you can get. It’s like trying to sleep on a lumpy marshmallow.
This is one of the most expensive hotels...

"This is a cute little place. Seems a little worn out for the money. The picture of the two chairs by the water is disceptive. You can not see the water from the house, except for a peek a boo view through the trees. i "

"We had a wonderful week at The Velvet Crab. Tara and the Heart of the Cape crew were attentive to any message we sent and the house was a perfect location to explore the outer cape. We loved how close we were to both the bay and ocean beaches and the whole family, dog included, loved lounging at the pond’s edge. We’re sorry to have to leave!"

"The property turned out to be just as showed in the pictures. We found it clean with supplies, even though the list indicated that there will none (or very few).
The location was perfect. Minutes walk from Herring Pond, 5 minutes drive (or walk) to First Encounter, and close to Orleans and Eastham.
We will try to return next year!"

"One Day Happened was the perfect location and property for a girl's weekend away! The home is stunning, fully updated, spotless, and offers ample space and comfort for a group or family travelling together. With plenty of parking, outdoor space, an outdoor shower, and beach gear available, we had everything we could possibly need and more. Nidhi is the perfect host and everything exceeded our expectations. You won't find a better property or location for your Cape trip!"
