"Patrick couldn’t have been more helpful in anticipation of our visit. The house is very well equipped, beds comfortable and spotless, showers lovely and hot. The bus service is minutes away direct to the city and plenty shops/bakeries nearby for provisions. The only mark-down is on the ‘child-friendly’ question which Patrick answers in the description of the property so on your own head be it! "Absolutely lovely cottage, even more space than expected and with lots of thoughtful touches to add to our stay. We had a car and found it quick and easy to drive to the park-n-ride to catch the train, or to drive directly into the city. The area around the cottage is beautiful and very nice for a short walk. "Perfect location. Amazing views from your own bench set and fire pit or the porch. Cabin was very clean with all mod cons - even USB charging points. Comfortable bed and the best shower I’ve even experienced on a campsite. Owner was polite, friendly and helpful. We booked an extra night and will definitely be staying again - next time with dog!"

"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"A nice quiet area about a 5 minute drive from Anstruther centre. There are plenty of walks to take straight out the door. The property had everything I needed. Plenty of light in the room and the ability to shut blinds to make it dark. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was perfect for my weekend break."

"Stayed in October for 5 nights, the location is absolutely perfect , a 3 minute walk to the royal Mile , 6 minutes to the palace at Holyrood and within walking distance of Edinburgh castle. There are tons of pubs and restaurants and Santu coffee shop close by. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Two bathrooms is a huge plus. The location is quiet and safe and the included parking spot is great. The owner is quick to respond and accommodating. Would definitely stay again !!"
