"We loved the unique structure and decor of the house, and felt very at home. The property was spacious, clean, quiet. The private dock and water access was perfect for morning coffee and swimming. We knew there was no tv on site, so we brought a small one with us for movie night! Communication with the owner was quick and responsive. We'd happily book there again!"

"This rental is tucked away in a very small town surrounded by mountains and forest. Peaceful and secluded, but easy enough to travel to a larger town for supplies. The property itself has a strong feeling of a family cabin, which it is, so it's easy to feel right at home. This was our second stay, and very likely not our last. "

"The well-stocked kitchen with kitchen island and bar stools worked well for our group of four. The mattresses were comfortable, not too hard and not too soft, just right. The bath towels were plush and large. We would absolutely stay here again. There are a few things to be aware of. There was a raised wood strip between the wood floor in the kitchen to the wood floor in the living area. Until we got used to this, we "tripped" over the strip a few times. "The owner was exceptional, promptly addressing all inquiries. The property itself was wonderful, with a convenient short walk to excellent restaurants and a general store. I highly recommend this fantastic location."

"We enjoyed having the Maybrook Cottage as our home base during our annual weeklong visit to Vermont. Our young kids loved the location and the nearby waterfall to explore. The hosts are very easy to communicate with, and have done a wonderful job restoring these vintage cabins. Would definitely return!"
