"I was disappointed with my experience, particularly given the high standards I associate with Hilton. The level of customer service fell well below expectations.
Unfortunately, the receptionist's attitude was neither welcoming nor professional. First impressions are important, and I felt the interaction lacked the courtesy and hospitality one would expect from a hotel of this reputation.
In addition, no complimentary water was offered upon check-in, which is a small gesture but one that many...

"Room was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. One of the double glazed window units was blown and required replacing and the ensuite was a little tired and needed upgrading. Breakfast was very good, as was the evening meal. Staff needed chasing up not keeping up replacing side plates, and keeping coffee pots full. Staff were quick to apologise and bring out replacements. We will almost certainly visit again, despite getting a few things wrong the staff were extremely friendly and...

"Really spacious clean room. Bathroom a bit dated and shower not very warm. Great location and parking facilities. Cracking view of the river from the room. I got an email offering a deal on breakfast. On paying at reception I was told it didn’t include VAT for the breakfast which was extra which I thought was a bit misleading. Other than that nice stay."

"First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left.
We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it is my view.
Based on reviews I expected a little more than we got....
