"One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out."

"Incredible property! Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed! After some snafu with the electronic locks resulting from my inability to use technology, the rest of the stay went off without a hitch. The property owner was quick to address any issues and made herself instantly available! So pleased to have had the opportunity to stay here!"

"House was great and had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Large and private, but not quite secluded. Can see other houses. Mountain driveway is not to be underestimated. 4WD required and need tall clearance under car. It is 1-car wide and challenged when you meet another car coming the other way. Close enough to both Shenandoah for outdoor activities and C’ville for city attractions. Cleanliness great! Communication easy and prompt. "

"This cabin was wonderful. Definitely off the beaten path but provided great quiet serenity after a full day in the park. You really can't beat something 15 minutes from the park entrance and also 15 minutes from town/groceries/restaurants. Stunning sunsets from the porch! The hottub was great after miles of hiking and it was so nice to be able to bring our dog, too. The yard was great to play fetch and explore. "This property was an amazing stay. Peaceful, quiet and very relaxing. Be prepared for an adventurous off road experience to reach the cabin. We loved every minute of our trip. The only downside of our stay was several ( at least 5) wasps nests on the house which made entering and exiting the home challenging. The host did respond to my message about the wasps and stated she would be dealing with them. Overall an amazing property and great for a vacation. "

"Hotel location at the crossroad of highly popular roads made it noisy all day and night. To avoid if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. The room was just below the roof AC machine controlling the corridors cooling. It turned on and off every hour making the most horrible sound and trembling of the room. The staff admitted it but couldn’t help it. The breakfast was super limited and the cherry on the top is that you eat on paper plates with plastic cutlery 﫣☹️"
