"SPACIOUS AND COZY There were 2 king size beds, 4 sets of bunk beds, and a very comfy extra large couch. LOCATION Beautiful area. Lots of horse and cows within eye sight of the house. Incredible starlight night sky. Check-in went smooth, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the place was clean. Lots of small touches that the host put into providing an amazing experience for us. "

"Perfect location and space for a long weekend getaway! Visiting the area for an event at UVA, but decided to stay outside of the city to better explore the area. This was a perfect spot and amazing host to help us with dinner and recreation recommendations… so good!!! The “suite” was very private and everything we needed. We loved the patio with a beautiful view of the countryside. Thank you for offering your space for our little getaway weekend!"

"We loved our stay at Fern Cottage! We stayed-my husband and I, along with our five children. Everything was clean, there was room for everyone, a great set up downstairs for the kids to play in, and the fire pit was a fun feature to use at night. The only suggestion I would make is to add more pans, mixing bowls and utensils -such as an ice cream scoop ! We would absolutely recommend this place and be eager to stay here again if we are in the area! Thank you, Holly!"

"Just as advertised - actually the room is a bit nicer in person - it looks a bit sparse in photos. Very central location. We weren't there to watch TV, but first the TV was lagging, and then we were logged out of the YouTube TV. Emails were answered promptly but it was somewhat inconvenient. Also, the loud room fan runs continuously, separate from the AC/heat. I value quiet and it was somewhat irritating. These two things aren't enough to take a star off overall though. "
