"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"The property was really nice a few things didnt work particularly for me. Hard to keep it warm the heating kept turning off it was very cold! the bathroom constantly brought in cold air and it was freezing to take a shower in. However the host was really nice very friendly."

"We stayed in a family room for two nights and overall had a good stay. The room was comfortable with nice view, but housekeeping needs improvement. There were sweets left from the previous guest on arrival, the toilet had a bad smell with no refresher, and the toilet tissue was partially used and not properly replenished we ran out on the last day and eventually gave up calling reception.
We also assumed housekeeping was daily, but it wasn’t, and we had to request service after running out of...

"The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy.
We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! "
