"We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property."

"Amazing as always."

"Lovely, comfortable cottage, beautifully dressed for Christmas. Great responsive and helpful host. We had a wonderful time."

"Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. "Beautiful and well-appointed property. We were very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. Lovely details have been added to this renovation. The surrounding land, access to beach, and peacefulness added to the enjoyment of our stay. "

There was a beautiful welcome pack waiting for us upon entry and a concise set of notes for the house.River View gave us everything we needed to...

"My wife and I spent a very pleasant week at Cygnet Cottage, using it as a base to explore the Northumberland Coast and local area. This particular accommodation is ideal for a couple. The living area is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen equipment all worked fine and there was an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery, and tools. The bathroom was small but perfectly usable with a decent, electric, shower. Upstairs was the bedroom with good storage facilities and a comfortable double bed...

"The Granary is in a secluded location ideal for relaxing, the upstairs sitting room. Is very well equipped with a library of books lots of comfy seating options and plenty of dvds, videos and board games. The kitchen is well equipped and very comfortable, I particularly enjoyed the personal touches in the form of the artwork. We found the bedrooms spacious and spotlessly clean, the single mattresses are very firm. The bathroom is clean and the shower worked well. The hosts were friendly...
