Escape the bustle and noise of everyday at the Peartree Tree Cottage. Located in the eastern hills of Holmes County, directly in the heart of the worlds largest Amish community. Just 10 minutes to Berlin, Walnutcreek, and Winesburg. Our adress says Dundee however we are in holmes county and Dundee is about 15 minutes from here.
The cottage is surrounded by stunning scenery amidst every season and is most breathtaking in the Fall. We have wide open skies, at dusk it is a stargazer s paradise!
Complimentary items include a pan of fresh homemade cinnamon rolls, a small loaf of homemade bread, a fresh pitcher of water, an ENDLESS supply of coffee beans to grind fresh, hot tea assortment, hot cocoa, and popcorn. We also stock the refrigerator with plenty of regular and flavored creamers, butter packets, &jelly. In the kitchen cabinets you will find sugar packets, equal,sweet and low, salt and pepper.
A limited amount of firewood is provided for your stay, guests are welcome to bring additional firewood. Please bring kindling such as a starter brick or wood chips and a lighter to start a fire whether it be inside or outside.

Located on a quiet township road, guests are ensured solitude, though the lodging hosts live nearby. While the cottage is a lovely country oasis, it is only 10-15 minutes from shopping and dining in Walnut Creek, Winesburg, or Berlin.

Hear the sound of neighboring buggies clip clap down the road and be reminded of the simpler life where there simply is no hurry.

Wrap in a blanket and cuddle with a book next to the toasty fire during gray winter months.

Relax on the deck listening to crickets and watching fireflies rise during the sultry summer twilight.

Well kept landscaping sorrounds both cottages year round and each offers a private decorative concrete patio with built in firepits. A limited amount of firewood is provided for your stay.

The cottage offers plenty of amenities such as onsite massage and special order flower bouquets for that special someone.

The kitchen is stocked with pans and dishes, and there is a full laundry room.
