"The entire property could use a facelift: repaint the wood trim, stairways, etc., and then—gee—sweep the walkways clear of leaves. The continental breakfast is limited to instant oatmeal and instant grits; toast (make it your own), some items to smear such as peanut butter. Medium boiled (some were soft, other hard) eggs on Saturday were an added benefit. Juices were available, and the coffee was a decent strong brew. I did not use the hot tub, nor the small indoor pool, nor did I see anyone...

"No notification that the hotel did not have water. Could not stay and had to wait for refund and book a last minute 3 day stay at much higher price."

"Stayed here night before hiking Gray's and Torrey's. The hotel (and Silver Plume altogether) is a small and quaint mountain town full of history. The hotel itself is just as advertised: old, quirky, quaint, but lovingly maintained. The communal bathroom was nice, though not sure if we could've done it for a longer stay. "This was the perfect Inn! The staff was amazingly friendly, kind, caring. Easy come and go as we pleased. Absolutely would stay here again. The quaintness of the area and the beautiful outdoor area with the view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony was perfection. We will definitely be back. Also super convenient location to the small town main area like the coffee shop across the street and 3 min from the infamous Georgetown Loop Train."
