** This bright, spacious 4 person apartment has 80m2. It consist of 2 bed rooms with double beds, bathroom with a shower and an additional toilet, sunlit open space living room and fully equipped kitchen.

Furnished balcony is highlight of this apartment: Separated from the rest of the house, it offers wide view to sea and enchanting sunsets.

With one of the most beautiful pebbly, shallow water beaches in the area, and several restaurants, It is ideal place for family vacation. Zaton bay has post office, bank and supermarket, you can reach them all by car in a few minutes. **

** City bus lines are going to Dubrovnik regularly, and there is also a taxi boat service. Ride to Dubrovnik center takes only 10 minute.

Schöne Ferienwohnung im Dachgeschoss mit toller Lage.

Die Wohnung ist sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage zum Strand und zu Dubrovnil ist ideal. Der Balkon ist etwas klein, aber ansonsten hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Lovely apartment, bright, clean, spacious with gorgeous views and close to beach and 3 restaurants

Had a great stay here and miss it already! Host family friendly and helpful. Put a smile on your face every morning waking up to views. Apartment had everything we needed and hosts provided parasol and a (paid) pick up from Dubrovnik when we asked and also did a load of laundry for us. Because of the sea views, the light, and being up in the eaves I flelt like I was on a ship which was cool. Nice balcony with lounger but we did get windy evenings and there is no shade up there later on. Has good air con, kitchen, shower and dishwasher. WiFi fine once connected but had to reboot a few times. Short distance to beach but it is down steps and not as much fun coming back up! At least you can pick figs off the trees near top of steps to sweeten climb. There are also steep steps into the apartment with no door at top and as we have kids we blocked off the top of the stairs at night with suitcase just to be safe. Stikovica has 3 decent restaurants with good value food but doesn’t have a shop. Nearest is in Zaton but you can’t really walk the road. We used the bus but runs to its own time so switched to Uber which was easy and good value for going into Dubrovnik. Stikovica beach is pebbly like most in area but decent size and good for swimming with sun beds and parasols available. It does get busy at weekend but quieter on week days. Overall we were really happy with our stay here and would recommend it as a good base with beach and restaurants just outside Dubrovnik.

Beautiful view, great location

The view really is stunning from this very new apartment. The place was spotless and the owner super-nice and helpful. The apartment is on the top floor of the building which is in the uppermost part of Stikovica. The location within 20 minutes of Dubrovnik is convenient...quiet but with a small pebble beach and a couple of restaurants, but no supermarket or other amenities. Sea kayaks are available for rent from the pizza place. Dubrovnik itself is rather expensive, so being outside of it was both pleasant and handy for driving to other places. There are bus services along the coast every hour or so. By car, we did day trips to Mljet, Peljesak Peninsula, Bosnia, Dubrovnik, Cavtat and further south. The reasons for not giving the apartment a higher rating were minor...it had little charm...modern but with no color or individuality. Also, the balcony turned out not to be very useful, as it was very windy in that location each night/morning (may be a seasonal thing?) and in the afternoon it lacked shade so was not useful then either. Also we couldn't even watch a World Cup football game on the TV as it didn't have local channels (would be nice to have a satellite channel guide available). The kitchen was well stocked except for sharp knives for chopping vegetables. The owner provided one immediately. Stikovica itself lacked some charm as it is all new construction; Zaton proper was probably a little better overall.

Lovely apartment with a stunning view

We had a great week staying in the Melanie penthouse apartment in Stikovica. The apartment was lovely and clean and very homely, we also had a fantastic view from the balcony (we all miss waking up to this) and the area was very peaceful. There was easy access to public transport (the taxi and bus drivers were all friendly and helpful )as well as the beach which was a short walk away- perfect for snorkelling and swimming. The owners of the apartments were very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. There was lots to do in the area, Dubrovnik was very close but you are just far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle, Zaton is also easy to visit. Overall we loved the apartment and we would definitely recommend!

Wonderful apartment with stunning views

We (family of 4) spent 8 nights in this wonderful modern apartment with amazing views over the bay of Zaton and across to the islands. The family who run the apartment were extremely helpful and informative about the area and possible boat trips to the 3 Islands etc. Local beach and restaurant are just a few steps down the hill. Dubrovnik and supermarket are a 15 minute drive away. Definitely the best holiday apartment we've had in Croatia. A big thank you for helping making our holiday so enjoyable and we won't forget the amazing view.

Lovely bright and clean apartment with superb views. Quiet location but within easy reach of Dubrovnik . We used public transport which was really convenient and cheap. The apartment owners are just beside the property and are very friendly and helpful and gave a very personal touch. Would definitely recommend it .
