Two bedroom House Marija with an amazing Old Town view

Recently renovated two bedroom house with a beautiful garden full of roses and other flowers and with an amazing view of Old Town of Dubrovnik. It's garden is perfect to enjoy dining outside or enjoying a glass of wine and reading your favorite book!

Old Town with a number of great restaurants, museums, places to visit, as well as 2 very nice beaches (beach Banje and Sulic) are all within 10 minutes walk.

House Marija consists of 2 bedrooms - one double bedroom and other that can either be set as double, or as a twin bedroom (please let us know your wished how to set it before arriving), living area, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, terraces with a big stone table and gorgeous garden with another table and two sun loungers.

Amenities include: high speed WI-FI, Sat TV, Air-Con (both bedrooms), washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter coffee), fridge/freezer...

Amazing experience

My teenagers and I stayed at House Marija for a few days and explored Dubrovnik. The house is set in a great location. It boasts stunning views and is a 5 minute walk into the town but at the same time is very peaceful. My teenagers felt very at home! The owners go above and beyond to help you throughout your stay. Wonderful memories made that will stay with us forever, thank you.

We really loved our stay and the apartment was just fab! The location was fantastic with the most gorgeous views over the old town and lovely area to sit out in. The apartment had lots of character too! Thanks for helping us with the transfer to the airport too, really helpful!

Very cute cottage with beautiful view up on hillside.

Very cute cottage stay with a beautiful view. Our host wasnā€™t able to meet us but our taxi driver that the host arranged walked us all the way to unit which was a good thing. It was not easy to locate at first. Pack light there is lots of walking to and from everywhere. The walk down to Old Town is doable but itā€™s a ton of steps and can be steep. Not safe for kids or elderly. Walking back up is another story, if you are looking for a good work-out then yes take the steps. There are hundreds of steps. The cab ride from center of town back up close to the cottage is 17-20 Euroā€™s each time. The outdoor seating area is wonderful however you cannot leave food/crumbs inside or outside or the place will be infested with ants. The inside seating area is very limited and the TV area is really uncomfortable, super cute but not practical for more than two people. We loved the vibe and view of this place but was a little to far to go back and forth as freely as we would have liked.

Fabulous adventure

Lovely views, spacious apartment, loved the historic details plus the updated bedrooms and bath. So long as you are in shape for the stairs highly recommend this apartment!

Peace and quiet a short climb from Dubrovnik Old Town

This property is just one street down from a main road coming into Dubrovnik but you wouldn't know it. It was so peaceful, with a fantastic view from the terrace. Everything was as described and I don't think I've ever seen such a spotless bathroom in a rental property. Beds were comfy, and the hosts Maro/Vesna could not have been more helpful. They organised airport transfers and gave very clear instructions on how to access the property. One thing to note - To get to, and back from, the old town there are tons of steps so not for the faint of heart. But, the peace you get on the terrace is more than worth the climb!

Great location

I recently stayed at this quaint home offers amazing views, and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It had all the basics I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellentā€”just a short walk to Old Town, ferries, and hiking trails. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

Lovely view but lots of steps to reach it

Simple and nice little house with a beautiful view at the top of the hill but exhausting to get to from old town Dubrovnik, about 400 step stairs. Donā€™t recommend if you have anyone with you thatā€™s older, disabled or just donā€™t love that kind of climb in the heat.

Perfect Stay

Thank you for providing the most perfect place for exploration of the stunning Old Town Dubrovnik. The house has a beautiful terrace where the view can be soaked in, comfortable beds and a kitchen providing all necessary items. It is a wonderful blend of modern and original and is very clean. The house is amazing. Exactly like the pictures. Communication was excellent throughout the process. The steps back from the town are hard work but Ubers are easy to book and cheap. The view from the garden must be the best view in Dubrovnik!

We were only there for two nights, but the apartment would be ideal for longer. 10 minute walk to Old Town. Long hike up many stairs to get back. Definitely best for people in good physical, cardiovascular condition. The host was very communitive and helpful,

Amazing Views

The views are stunning. You will get your steps in, but the walk down into old town is fun, but would recommend taking UBER home and itā€™s not expensive if you take UBER. Donā€™t take the tram up, take UBER and have lunch up on top, much cheaper The beds are comfortable, but firm. Host is lovely. Would highly recommend this apartment

Wow what a location spot

This was an amazing location and property with views from the outdoor patio and bedroom windows over looking the walled city of Dubrovnik!! Two bedrooms very spacious, beds comfortable, linens, towels all plenty. Washing machine and rack perfect for laundry. Great kitchen, loved the old world sink with view of patio. Two different outdoor patio table eating areas. And sitting spots. The views overlooking g the city are simply breathtaking. It is a bit of a hike up hill back up to the unit from town, 15 mins, great leg and cardio workout, so if you have any mobility issues that could be a challenge This was the most special VRBO we have ever stayed in. Truly loved it !! Added to the overall Dubrovnik experience The hosts Vesna and Maro were outstanding in every way. Communication was perfect, directions to unit very detailed. Easy check in and out many thanks for arranging our airport transfer as a special request

Breathtaking view!

We absolutely loved this apartment! It's a climb up the hill, but well worth every step. The view is magnificent from the garden. The apartment is clean and tidy and was perfect for our group of two couples. We felt very at-home here and could happily have stayed longer. You do want to be of moderate fitness for the climb up, but taxis are always an option from the old city. They're very easy to find.

The private garden terrace was an amazing place to enjoy a drink before dinner. Great view of Old Town. 200 yard walk to be picked up by a taxi/Uber or 380 stairs down to/up from town. Incredible view from the master bedroom window. Great place to stay! Cant say anything bad.

MAGNIFIQUE

MĆŖme si l'Ć©quipement et l'agencement sont assez sommaires en ce qui concerne la salle de bains et la cuisine, la maison est est trĆØs agrĆ©able et trĆØs propre. Chambres trĆØs spacieuses et joliment meublĆ©es. Jardins et terrasse magnifiques ! La vue est irrĆ©sistible !!! Le quartier, qui se trouve en hauteur, est trĆØs calme. Depuis la maison, nous arrivons rapidement Ć  la magnifique Vieille ville de Dubrovnik, mais aprĆØs avoir descendu les 424 marches (sauf erreur) qui nous y mĆØnent : le plus dur Ć©tant - bien sĆ»r - de les remonter mais rien d'impossible (nous sommes des retraitĆ©s et nous l'avons fait bien sĆ»r chaque jour) Quant Ć  Vesna, notre hĆ“tesse, nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu la rencontrer, mais elle a Ć©tĆ© formidable et rĆ©actives Ć  toutes nos questions et demandes d'aide (nous ne parlons pas l'anglais... et encore moins le croate). Pour Ƨa aussi, merci mille fois Vesna. Bref nous avons passĆ© 3 jours formidables Ć  Dubrovnik. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tout voir. Peut-ĆŖtre Ć  une autre occasion.

A Wonderful Pied a Terre

We had a wonderful stay House Marija. The house was very clean and the views are gorgeous. We loved the outside sitting area. Yes, there are A LOT of stairs getting to and from Old Town, but that is to be expected and we welcomed the exercise. All and all, it was a lovely place.

Beautiful View

Loved the view & outdoor seating area. The living room only had seating for three, but we spent most of our time using the outdoor patio or enjoying the old town. Maro was very attentive & helped us out by placing on order for pizza one night when we were having trouble contacting the restaurant, we really appreciated it!

Great View of the city

Like most properties in the city, they layout was a bit strange (by American standards) and yes, there were many stairs to climb, but it was a great stay. To wake up to that view and to have wine in the evening on the terrace made the steps worth it. The host was quick to respond to questions. We came home one day to find a bowl of fresh grapes from the owner on the patio. Quiet street, close to a bus stop. The stairs helped offset the great food we enjoyed during our stay. Highly recommend.
