"What an incredible experience it was to stay here!!! Definitely high-end accommodations for a treehouse. Michael was a pleasure to work with, was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we got there late. We loved being in the trees and so close to so much wild life. I definitely would recommend for someone who loves nature and the outdoors. We all had an overwhelming feeling of sadness the day we had to leave."

"Beautiful house steps away from pristine and unoccupied beaches, jungle path that goes on for miles teaming with monkeys and birds. This is remote. No true restaurants nearby, but the tent camp serves a delicious evening meal with a full bar and is about a 10 minute walk. Town is a 60-90 minute hike and has several restaurants and a very small grocery. The owners of this house are delightful, helpful, and provided excellent orientation to living openly in the jungle. "We had a little taste of Paradise while living at Villa Cascada. If you love nature, it is the place to stay. We woke up almost every morning to the sounds of the howler monkeys, we even saw them in a nearby tree. You are surrounded by the jungle and all its sounds and aromas. We saw lots of toucans, butterflies, birds, bats, coatis. The views are amazing. The road to the villa was scary the first time, but David waited for us on the main road and led us to the villa. "We were in Drake Bay for three nights for a couple of days of diving with our two adult children. The house was perfectly situated, lots of space, and an amazing covered deck area with an afternoon breeze. Everything went very smoothly from first communications through to check-out. Overall we have no hesitation giving this house five stars."

"We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri. The house has simple but impressive amenities for how remote the area is. The drive to get there is an adventure in itself but you could not be closer to the park once you arrive! "This is such a cool place. Great AC and WiFi. The private trails around the property are incredible and back up to a river. Feels very secure. We found kinkajous, squirrel monkeys, coatis, snakes, frogs all around the property. Absolutely must stay here if you like exploring nature on your own, especially at night."

"This house had such amazing wildlife viewing we hardly ever left. that combined with the lovely pool, scenic walks and open air showers. We saw squirrel monkeys, toucans, macaws, capuchins all from our balcony and walks around the house we found kinkajou and tyra along with a host of other species. Thanks for having us- 100 percent recommend!"

"Really enjoyed our stay. God’s creation awesomely displayed around us! Would have been fantastic location for a larger group. Wish the other family members had been able to join us. Finding the property the first time was a challenge. You definitely need to take the sharp left at the top of the third hill. Don’t go straight down the third and steepest decline! If heat and humidity and cool showers are not your thing this may not be best choice for you. With the pool it easy to cool down."

"Sehr schöner und sehr ruhig gelegener Ort am Ende der Zufahrtsstrasse. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Durch die offene Bauweise kommt man der Natur natürlich sehr nahe. Für uns war das ein sehr schönes Abenteuer. Wir konnten Papageien von der Terrasse aus beobachten und hatten sogar ein Tapir im Vorgarten gesehen. Das Baden im Meer ist problemlos auch für Kinder möglich. Kann ich sehr weiterempfehlen."

"Beautiful new one bedroom house that is well decorated and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts were great and very responsive. The birds and butterflies in the garden were and added bonus. No negatives at all about either the house or the location. It was very convenient to groceries, gas and restaurants."

"This rental is run down and in a bad area. There is no hot water and wifi crashed shortly after we got there. There is an air conditioner for the upstairs bedroom but none for the downstairs, which gets hot. The surrounding are not enjoyable."

Le balcon donne sur les arbres et les singes viennent à cet endroit. Sécuritaire pour aller seule à pied au village le soir avec lampe frontale. 1 km de la mer et 2 km du village. Super endroit confortable et chaleureux."
