The home was clean, and Sara offered fresh eggs and coffee for breakfast starters. It’s a great place to unplug from today’s world. "While planning a fly fishing trip on the Beaverkill river, we came across this rental property and it fit the bill perfectly for us. Although the weather didn't cooperate as far as the fishing goes (temps were in the mid to upper 80's), the house remained comfortable inside for sleeping at night. House was as advertised and we enjoyed sitting around the fire down by the river. We saw deer, a bald eagle and various other wildlife. "This was a great place to stay in our favorite corner of the Catskills. The house is really nicely styled, and is very spacious and comfortable - there were 6 of us and a dog and plenty of room for all. Sarah was a super responsive and helpful host. The kids loved the games room - a great thing to have on a rainy day. And you HAVE to try eightymain restaurant just down the road - one of the best we've ever eaten in!"

"The cabin was in a beautiful location and with a clean and lovely interior. The induction stovetop ended up breaking as we were attempting to cook, but the host generously gave us a discount to subsidize us going out for dinner instead of cooking the food we had brought. Overall it was an excellent stay — I do think it would be helpful if the host had instructions listed in the cabin regarding how to use the appliances (stove, grill, fireplace, etc.). It would also be great if they provided more...

"My family of 8 stayed at this location. Everything about it was easy. The accommodations were great and everything was nicely appointed. Bill, who is the owner, is a great guy and made sure everything was ready for our arrival, including a warm and toasty home. We stayed to ski Belleayre and it’s couldn’t have been better with a less than 10 minute ride. Highly recommend if your are staying with a large group."

The hot tub on the deck was perfection, just what we needed after a long day of skiing, The downstairs game room was a blast. Everything was perfect for my family of six's annual winter ski trip. "The host accommodated us pretty well as the property was pretty clean with all the basic commodities as well as board games to spend time with friends/family. However the lighting in certain rooms were not working and there was not adequate lighting. But overall an amazing experience!"
