"The location of the house is excellent as you can easily do day trips to the north and south of the Island and to Adventure Bay. It is a few minutes walk to Hotel Bruny which has fantastic meals. The house has a wonderful view looking back to the mainland and of Satellite Island with a deck at the front and back of the house which is perfect to avoid the wind depending on the direction. Both decks have outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings very comfortable....

"Very secluded property. Clean, with all the facilities you would need for a week or month. Bush setting with access to bay for canoeing or small boat. Highly recommend."

"A beautiful getaway with gorgeous views in such a tranquil yet convenient location. Perfect for larger families/small groups. While as agroup we stayed in winter we also thought it would be the perfect for summer as well! "

"This is the second stay our team has had at the Lune Mill River House in a stunning location. Our comments from the previous review still applies, but in short - prepare for an old draughty house on the river side. Bring sleeping bags if you are sensitive to the cold. We set our expectations accordingly, and had a wonderful stay. All team members were very satisfied with the accommodation and would book again. Note: any location this remote is subject to power outages. We have not encountered...

"I had a great stay over two nights, was very comfortable and the house was very clean and well set out. Friendly wallabies a bonus!"

"Was a nice and quiet place to stay, surrounded by bush. Close to the beach and different nature walks (although we didn't explore fully by foot, I'm sure there would be a short cut down to the water). About a 3 minute drive from supermarket, petrol station and shops at Snug. Beds were comfortable and warm (winter stay) and heaters were provided in each bedroom to make the inside cosy as well. Split system was good for the main living area."

"Outside looks like a little old shack. Inside is lovely and comfortable. It has been made very homely. Reception isn't great in the area but there are dvds and books, some beach toys to keep the kids entertained in down time."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideout Cabin. Just 10 minutes from the ferry, yet it feels like a world away—remote, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking ocean views. "Such an incredible stay, we had the most perfect, relaxing weekend at Tiny’s, we had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend away. We loved our stay so much, especially loved the fireplaces, the kitchen, the bake your own croissants. Super comfy bed, lovely shower, it’s in the best spot to explore the Huon Valley and the hosts are absolutely wonderful - we definitely hope to stay again! "
