"Awesome place to stay"

"Within minutes of Thomas and Blackwater falls. This was a wonderful place for me and my boyfriend to stay at. It was central and made things so much easier especially cause we dont know our way around. I definitely would recommend this place, just for the sights alone. I will say my only note would be adding a sign or a little sticker that steps may be slippery with socks on, my boyfriend fell down three on the first day, but all was good. "gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps."

"We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top).
