"The hotel smelled bad like mold and Indian cooking. The room was clean but I did not have a wastebasket . I think someone was cooking in a room close to me late in the evening. I was glad to leave."

"When you get there, you have to ring a bell, and the person comes to greet you. She was very kind and friendly however, the room had about 10 flies for some reason and a bunch of dead flies on the floor overall pretty filthy a bunch of hair on the floor Everywhere that had never been swept up from the last person was unable to take a shower because only water came from the tub faucet and not the showerhead above. Definitely asked to see the room before you accept it. It was OK for a one night...

We were treated like royalty, our room was clean (and upgraded for free thanks to the lovely man that checked us in!), and honestly even the breakfast was fabulous. 1000% recommend! We were so surprised to find this gem of a hotel and its staff tucked away in tiny Killdeer, ND. Thank you💗 -Emerald & Ron"
