"I traveled and stayed for the weekend with 6 adults. If you have kids, this would be fine as we stayed in a premiere cabin. The bunk bed were tight for us. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable with the bar in your back and the main bed was ok. The place was clean and the shower had a good amount of hot water. The TV couldn’t get a signal to work. The place overall needs some TLC, but it was overall just ok. "

"Beautiful cabin and property. Lots of seating and room to enjoy the whole family together. Many amenities and thoughtful items, such as soap bars, shampoo, toothbrushes, coffee, games, fishing items, fire pit with wood, and basically everything you need for a fun, enjoyable time. Wonderful property that is so close to Gettysburg, and staying in a piece of history at the same time. Absolutely perfect! Our whole family could be in one place for our daughter's graduation from Gettysburg College....

"We had previously visited Frederick last November and had only been able to spend a little bit of our visit in Historic Frederick. We loved staying in historic Frederick and the property was unique, very clean and well laid out. I should have realized was that 'penthouse' in a historic home would mean steps. "The house was great. Convenient to Gettysburg, roomy, very nice house/cabin. I really like the upstairs bedroom with it's own bathroom. Bathrooms were clean, the upstairs one was a low entry. Had a nice laundry area. Only a couple of things were a drawback. The screened in porch had not been cleaned or aired out. It was unusable. The grill area is feet away from the septic, my husband who is a plumber used to the smell would not use it. The lawn in the back had not been mowed so using the fire...

"A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable. We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron"

"Lovely well kept property. It has everything you need. Comfortable beds and convenient location. The only drawback is the front bedroom has LOTS of street noise. I used a fan for white noise and earplugs. It’s on a busy street. Fire Station is nearby too. Great park for kids across the street. Close to a few great restaurants within walking distance."

"We loved being all together and the house allowed for us to do that. Check in was easy. Location was great-nice off the main road but close to towns. Historic home so we expect the tiny door into the small room. We expect the themed rooms to compliment the hunter theme. Huge turkey was a turn off above the bed. We did not appreciate the dust all around, old beds, and stains on bedding. Kitchen pots and pans need updating. We ordered out food for most of our meals. Never heard back from with host...

"Quartos ok, mas sem muita iluminação. A limpeza deixa a desejar. Foi possível achar cabelo de outra pessoa tanto no box quanto no secador grudados no primeiro dia da minha estadia. É informado que a reserva tinha café da manhã, mas não passa de uma barrinha de cereal com café de máquina e uma fruta. Nada além. E o hotel não apresenta muita segurança, visto os quartos são independentes da recepção em si, tendo a possibilidade de qualquer que passe na rua ter acesso aos nossos quartos e pertences."
