Communication with the host was also somewhat inconvenient, as they didn’t use WhatsApp and all communication had to go through the Expedia app. Unfortunately, the location of the accommodation was not ideal for us either. "The guest service agents were terrible. Would not accommodate an earlier check in at all, despite explaining that we were arriving from Victoria with tons of luggage. Wouldn’t even offer a place to store the bags prior to check in. We arrived at 1 PM anyway and the place was ready. When we checked in they told us they would charge us for early check in! "It was perfect for our group of 5 adults. Great location for hiking and taking a fishing charter. Marina is 5mins away beside Nordic Spa. Clean, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. It had all amenities needed. There is a small grocery store and several places to eat with in walking distance. Would recommend to others. Side note to those driving up via Sooke the road is very wavy(bumpy) so if you are prone to car illness take something prior to drive. Very scenic with lots of places to stop...
