Bring a gas cooker or one use bbq type thing for your meals or there are Restaurants or I saw a family with take away pizza. A little fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls supplied. Soft, fluffy towels, washing up things too. Supermarket 5 mins away. One needs to be used to being self-sufficient and down to earth. Fresh water tap around the corner, showers and toilets shared and regularly cleaned. Beautiful and peaceful....

"Sehr netter unkomplizierter Empfang, gemütliches hübsches Tinyhouse wie beschrieben. Lage sehr schön am See. Alles sauber.Der See einladend. Die Nähe zu Amsterdam top. Die Beschallung der viel befahrenen Straße ist immer präsent und stört leider etwas die Idylle. Das wäre nur mit einer Schallschutzmauer zu dämmen an der Straße."

Would definitely recommend. Staff were very helpful. Very good for access to the train station which is 6 stops from Amsterdam Central, 15 mins. "

"Our stay was great, fell in love with the town of Abcoude ( short drive or train to Amsterdam ) apartment was fine but description of rooms and bathrooms doesn’t match. It has two bedrooms ( not 3 as it is stated) and 1 toilet, two showers and 1 bathtub. It is described as two toilets and two showers. Great location in the middle of town with restaurants and supermarket close by. Fairly clean , just a few cowwebs in corners and under beds. Extremely steep staircase . Overall, a great place "
