"Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. "The pictures do not do this place justice it is more beautiful in person. The host was great! Had a really fun time here, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are on the fence about it. It’s not to far from anything you’d wanna see here at the national park as well. "

"This is a wonderful cabin. The A frame structure is rustic and charming. There’s a comfy deck. Debra has shelves of board games and lots of info on local things to do. There is a washer and dryer! The upstairs loft with the king bed is where we slept because my husband is 6’6”. I loved it, although I bumped my head 3 times on the ceiling beams! "My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

"We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. It’s an ideal spot to soak in nature during the day and hang out together in the evenings.The cabin itself is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). "Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek.
