"My wife and I were traveling to NMU to drop off our daughter and we decided to extend our stay at this property for a couple days. The house was clean and had a great view of the lake. We utilized the kayaks to do some fishing and caught some nice size bass. Host Taylor was easy to deal with and accommodating. "

"My wife and 4 kids, aged 7-16, stayed for nights. PROS: We loved the location, easy to get to Marquette and other sites. Kids loved the table games. Kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of utensils dishes, etc and things, like a soft-sided cooler we could bring along for picnic lunches at waterfalls. CONS: honestly not much, There are some little things that could be improved, we used the pool table a lot, and while we loved it, it was wobbly. A little more comfy seating in the main...

"Stayed for two nights in late June. Loved the river located directly on the property. Close to the city of Marquette, so it was in an ideal location for a nice day trip and for exploring Lake Superior. "

"The hosts (Ken and Sara) have thought of everything that a guest could want. We only had to bring our own food, but they had the fridge stocked with sodas when we arrived. They supplied microwave, toaster, cooktop with oven, plates, cups, utensils, kayaks, fishing rods, life vests, shampoo, body wash--I could list a hundred more things. The hosts texted us to be sure that we were able to access the cottage easily and get settled in. They also checked with us during our six-day stay to ask...

"An incredible place. Superior location. Close enough to walk to everything, beach right there, great amenities. Really nice property. So happy we chose this place"

"This house was perfect for what we needed. Very clean! Recliners and massage chair were a big hit. Fireplace made it extra cozy. Hosts did a great job of thinking of all the extras you could need. No complaints."

"Beautiful place that provided pretty much everything you needed…a very well stocked kitchen, plenty of life jackets, floaties for the lake, smore sticks, 2 refrigerators, kayaks and stand up boards…plenty of room for our party of 13, clean with easy check in/out. "

"This cottage was great for our family. It is located right on the river bank in a quiet area. The living room and kitchen were roomy, and the bedrooms plenty big.It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, and paper products.The outside area was great for sitting as a group, having an evening around the fire pit, or sticking your feet in the river. We had paddle boarders and swimmers with us that took advantage of being riverside. Nobody brought a fishing pole, so I don’t know about fishing...

"The remodel of this cabin is gorgeous! The photos in the listing are accurate and authentic. The location is fantastic! It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. You will absolutely love this charming cabin!"

"Very cozy little place with everything we needed during stay!"

"We chose this property because it is centrally located to many places to visit on “Day Trips”, all within an hours drive or less!!! We visited the “Fayette Historic Townsite”, “Gladstone Lighthouse”, “Peninsula Point Lighthouse” in Rapid River, and “Sandpoint Lighthouse” in Escanaba! We spent an afternoon at the “Island Resort & Casino” in Harris, Mi which is only 22 miles away and another day in Munising, Mi to go on a boat tour to see “Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore” which was breathtaking...

"Wonderful stay! We loved the quiet, serene outdoors, especially the kayak and lake access. Everything we could have needed for cooking/grilling was available at the cabin! "

"This cabin, location and lake were the perfect antidote for an amazing relaxing vacation. The pictures do not share the wonderful size windows and views of the lake. The high point of this trip was spending lots of time on the water with the owners paddle board, kayak and canoe. I always make a point of thanking owners that allow dogs to join in on our vacation fun. THANK YOU!"

"I have stayed at this hotel 3 years ago, and it was ok. Now I found it worse. It is getting older and noisier. Just by walking in the room, everything makes noise. If you get a room downstairs, hope not to have a guest on the room above you."
