"We stayed for 5 days/4 nights. It is a comfy older home, nicely decorated with lots of room. The host thought of pretty much anything you could need while on vacation and quickly responded to all communication. The furniture and beds were comfortable and our dog loved the porch and yard. We were there for a music festival and hope to come back again next year! "

"It’s a very nice and clean cottage on a river. I stayed there because it was a central location to explore different places in the central Upper Peninsula. The location is a bit remote, being about 20 miles from a grocery store and restaurants, but I didn’t find that to be a major problem. All in all I had a pleasant experience and recommend this cottage to others."

"we all went up to Republic to do a lot of sledding. Cabin did not disappoint. Sauna was wonderful after a day of sledding. Perfect spot to go out snowmobling in any direction. Would stay here again"

Loved the pool/sauna/spa, the master suite, lake deck access, all the various sitting areas—enjoyed it all. And, while the location was deep in the woods (in a good way!), it was also close enough to do day trips to cliff jumping in Marquette and Pictured Rocks. "We had a great time. Used the boats everyday to go fishing. The fire pit was great and needed to be on level ground. You end up placing chairs on a hill. The last step before going onto the dock is sketchy. Another step would be helpful.Renters pay a nice penny to stay there. Having it stocked with food essentials would help. Coffee, condiments, even oil would go a long way."

"We had an amazing stay. The property offers a beautiful scenery of the lake. Many activities were less than an hour away. My favorite part was watching my children have fun kayaking and making a fire. It was so relaxing "

We tried to use the ice maker but it appeared to leak so we just made ice cubes. Light over stove did not work. Plenty of towels was appreciated. I hope we left it in good shape. "I have stayed at this hotel 3 years ago, and it was ok. Now I found it worse. It is getting older and noisier. Just by walking in the room, everything makes noise. If you get a room downstairs, hope not to have a guest on the room above you."
