"We had a wonderful stay! The communication was great!!! I was thinking that the pool would be cold considering the indoor pool and one of the prior comments, but that was not the case. The pool was perfect. We live in Florida so I was delighted to be able to go into the pool and not be exposed to a ton of sun beating down on us. "First of all, I want to say we were so impressed with this home. It was furnished great.You couldn't ask for anything because everything you needed was already there. We only spent a couple days for my birthday. Which we so enjoyed. We fished from the dock every day. Even though we only caught catfish, it was so much fun just to catch a fish. We also caught some crabs. We didn't keep them. We let them go the only mishap. We had was, I was so excited to show off my crabs, then I dropped my phone...

"We love this location and have stayed many times over the past five years. The house could use a little TLC, but the location is perfect. Also, the hydrilla can be an issue getting into the River. Thankfully, some fellas on the river cleared a path for us. The screened porch is fabulous as is the yard and dock. Don’t plan on grilling-various issues like no propane or the last users leaving it dirty have deterred us. We will continue to return. You should definitely go! I’m mentioning the issues...

"Perfect, we've stayed at the Mermaid House before and are already planning a trip or two for next year. Chris, the host is quick and easy to communicate with. House is well appointed, pretty much everything you need for a stay. The pool is my favorite, listening to nature, floating with a cocktail, you can't beat it. The tiki bar is also amazing! Plenty of room, house is kept spotless and has beautiful finishes inside. "

"Hotel Adorável Quarto grande, limpo, bem agradável e tinha duas camas bem confortáveis. Nosso quarto ficava de frente então tinha uma bela vista da cidade. Fomos muito bem atendidos na recepção e ganhamos um vale para bebida de álcool e pequeno jantar. O café também foi bem satisfatório. Ah, tem de tudo bem pertinho, muitas opções de comércio e comida. Recomendo!"

The lady who organizes the breakfast (Ms. Emmy) is fantastic, hard-working, always smiling and attentive to everyone and at check-in, Ms. Madison, I must highlight the fast, efficient and attentive service to everyone who arrived and it really is a choice for the return to Gainsville,-FL. "The building is beautiful but overall the hotel needs urgently a huge renovation . Room very dated, carpets looking dirty and not smelling good. Breakfast average. Bed sheets and bath towels not good quality. For the price you can find a better hotel in the area. Not coming back again. "

"Passamos somente uma noite e foi bem desagradavel pois o quarto que nos instalaram não funcionava o ar condicionado e nem as lampadas. Nos trocaram de quarto e durante a noite havia um som irritante dentro do quarto, parecia um apito, não conseguimos dormir. Desconfiamos que fosse o sensor de fumaça que fazia esse barulho. Café da manhã fraco. Lamentavel minha experiencia nesse hotel."
