"this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. The restaurant offers excellent dining choices for dinner only. I will definitely be staying there again in the future."

"The property was not that difficult to find, although it is off a rather bumpy dirt road. But there's a gate to the property, and you really do feel like you're in your own private oasis. The cottage is small, but with two bedrooms, there's enough space to spread out if your party is small. Inside was very clean and comfortable. "Very comfortable and nicely equipped home. Great location - everything within walking distance. We spent a lot of time enjoying the great Gulf/ water views from the balcony. Fourth of July fireworks were literally across the street over the water! A great plus! I would thoroughly recommend this property. Please be aware though that the top floor location requires being able to carry luggage/groceries upstairs. So this might be a consideration if someone has mobility issues. Otherwise a wonderful...
