"Wow, this place is central to so many great spots. In one week we did so much around the area. My 2.5YO and 6YO loved the property. The water is shallow all the way out to the buoys. My 6 year old and wife walked out to the buoys 4x. My 2YO loved playing in the water but mostly loved digging in the beach on the property with all the provided toys & tools. "We loved the place! We had seven children with us ranging in ages from 6 to 14. They all had a great time, with the river and kayaks in the backyard. And Lake Michigan practically in the back yard. The landscaping around the house was very nice, and the backyard was amazing. With four families, we got use out of the two full kitchens. The host was very responsive to any questions. We would definitely go back!"

"I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!"
